I have one cat and two big dogs. They all drink out the same fountain. One of my pet is a bull massive dog. He slobber a lot. So I need a fountain that has a large enough bold to accommodate all three of them. So I don’t have to refilled it and clean it every day sometimes two or three times a day. The good thing about this is that it is big enough for all three of them. I don’t have to refill their water supply and clean the balls too many times it would waste water in energy and soap for me to do that. So this fountain is good in that way. It accommodate all three of them. This fountain is also very quiet. I could barely hear the waterfront running. However, the bad thing about this fountain is it’s too flimsy the plastic that houses the filter. It breaks off too easily. I was trying to clean the fountain off, but the plastic broke after I tried to clean it the third time.
This thing is huge!I have not encountered any negative things about this. When the water gets about an inch from the bottom, you will start to see some bubbles and know to fill it back up because that’s where the pump is. It doesn’t completely touch the bottom, but how would we expect it to go that low anyways? I don’t have to change out the water for my seven cats for a full week. I’ve had it for a couple of months and I don’t have clogging issues. The water never gets disgusting or pink.
